Date added: 10/11/2011 The Vision of Milton Florsheim
From the very beginning, Milton Florsheim understood that having a quality product was only one part of a successful business. The second part was a good network through which he could distribute that product. It was the only to ensure his exceptional product made it's way onto the customers foot. Accordingly, he worked with a number of entrepreneurs to establish retail businesses all around the county which make Florsheim shoes available to the general public from small towns and villages to the largest cities of the time. Armed with mass production and with everyone in their sites, the company shortly thereafter began expanding their wholesale distribution to larger cities and opened company-owned retail stores all across america that would offer the entire lineoup of Florsheim Shoes.
The Flosheim brand was acquired by the Weyco Group in May of 2002. Now based in Glendale Wisconsin, the company is still Florsheim at it's foundation currently being run by Fifth generation members of the Florsheim family. The future of Florsheim is expansion into more markets than just fashionable mens dress shoes and work shoes. The brand is also being structured to appeal to the younger customers as well. Some of the Florsheim Technologies include the "Dot Matrix" technology with an injected gel in a removable footbed for added comfort. Florsheim is currently building a state of the art design center intended to be the envy of the industry allowing the company to do more and offer more to the consumer.
While the Florsheim brand is working to create more advanced technologies and fashion, Florsheim Work Shoes and Boots are manufactured by the Warson Brands Group using the most advanced technologies on the market for Safety and Productivity. This same company that makes Converse Work Boots and Rockport Work Shoes. Warson Group recently changed to Warson Brands means two important things to you, our customers.
